Rosie is almost two and I can’t believe how fast time is going. Can we freeze time yet? Our day begins when we get home from taking her sister to school. Rosie plays hide and seek with her brother and can chase him around for hours. Sometimes she will run and if she wants to be silly, she crawls.
We love to listen to music and this girl loves to dance. I remember singing “Ring around the Rosie” while I was pregnant and this little one could not stop moving in my belly. Can you guess what her favorite song is? Throughout the day we sing it over and over. Check out her moves.
This year Rosie took her first gymnastics class. Seeing her with her instructor and other kids made me so happy. The first time she said “tuck an roll” I completely lost it. We take gymnastics class twice a week but that won’t stop her from practicing at home. She is a natural.
Rosie went from needing my hand to help her walk to an expert climber. She can run so fast and climb really well. The only time this backfires on me is when I need to get her dress or change her diaper. She is always on the run and ready to play. When I finally catch her she always says “sorry mommy” and gives me a big kiss. You win kiddo, mommy can’t resist your charm.
Each day with Rosie is always different but one thing that remains the same is her smile. Every day she is always this happy. Carter’s has been a family favorite for years and I am excited to make more memories with them.
