It has been a crazy couple of weeks in the Acker Family household. We started Fall with a jam-packed calendar. Our annual trip to Butlers Orchard is always fun. We enjoyed the festival and picked pumpkins. This place is amazing. Ella had school events and we started to prepare for our annual trip to Disney World. After a not so scary Halloween in Disney, the hubby and I packed up our crew and headed home and took our own mini vacation to Aruba. It was a completely kid free trip and our first trip alone after welcoming Lilly Rose.  When we arrived home Justin had to leave for a business trip and I’m still in shock that I was able to manage a week alone without him.

If you missed how busy it’s been over here is a recap. Right after Ella’s Trunk or Treat party at school I packed a family of five for Disney the same night. The next morning our flight left (yes, we made our flight). After a week in Orlando, Florida we landed home to drop off the kids to Nana’s and we flew out the next morning to Aruba. I’m exhausted just re-thinking the madness.

It’s tradition for us to decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving but this year we are getting a late start. I’ll be completely honest, I’m still exhausted from traveling. Before I could possibly dive into Christmas mode I needed to get my crew and I back on routine. That’s secretly tossing all of their Halloween candy, getting them to bed on time (not a minute late) and tackling laundry ( by tackling I mean washing and digging for what I need from the basket, shh). I love decorating and Christmas is my favorite holiday so it’s safe to say I go overboard. Until I can do an official post on Disney, Aruba, and my Christmas decor enjoy these photos.

Real Life. Always. XO
