Spring Reset 3,2,1

This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx but all opinions are my own!

Hello Friends.  Spring is almost here and we are so excited to get outside and enjoy the weather. One thing that I really love about spring is eating outdoors and enjoying fresh fruit and snacks on the go. It is so important for me to encourage my kids to make good food choices and keep their body moving!

Have your heard about AFHK?

Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) is a nonprofit creating healthier schools and communities that support the physical and emotional health of children. AFHK is committed to helping all kids and offer services and tools to children in undeserved communities. They believe all kids should have a healthy body and mind.

Every Kid Healthy Week (April 26-30, 2021) promotes emotional wellness, good nutrition, and physical activity. There are different activities each day and you can follow along with us. To get started register at everykidhealthyweek.org. To stay update on Action for Healthy Kids you can follow their socials too.

SPRING ACTIVITIES

As much as we love to play outside the weather in Washington, D.C. is always unpredictable. Even in the spring we may face a rainy week. Luckily we have a back up plan to keep the kids busy. Glove-A-Bubbles is so fun because they offer a hands on experience from start to finish.

Glove-A-Bubbles come with a unique character that you see on the packaging, bubble solution that you pour in the pouch.

To get started you put your hand in the pouch and use your hand as a wand and watch the bubbles fly,  These are great for birthday activities, Easter baskets, or stocking stuffers!

You can find Glove-A-Bubbles from Zuru at Target.

TOYS

Surprise toys are definitely a hit in my house. Joelle enjoys collecting and the excitement she gets from opening is always enjoyable to watch.

Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise from ZURU is a surprise plushie that hatches from a bright mystery egg.

There are 6 new mini rainbocorns to collect and they all come with a sparkly heart to reveal a hidden surprise. Do yourself a favor and add these to your gift list and ditch the candy for Easter baskets.

Reading and Education

We are fortunate enough to have a school that is passionate about the environment just like we are. When my son  and I read A Child’s Introduction to the Environment Book from Black Dog & Leventhal he understood everything. As he gets older he will be able to read it to himself but for now I am happy he fully comprehends what I read to him.

A Child’s Introduction to the Environment Book from Black Dog & Leventhal has current and urgent topics and tips for us to help protect  Earth. It also has a poster that you can take out on tips to conserve energy that we hung in our playroom. Jax is already our recycle police in our home so this book is going to grow with him.

Growing Kids

Socks. My gosh this word used to be taboo in my home. Now I am switching over to ExpanTech Kids Socks from No nonsense. The ExpanTech technology makes them super stretchy. This means my kids can share socks and as they grow the socks are still going to fit.  The crew socks are perfect for athletes who need no show socks and the summer time when you need socks but don’t want to ruin your fashionable outfit!

This spring we are going to have a busy schedule. The kids are starting in person learning, some are staying home, and everyone is involved in a sport. Needles to say we are going to be on the go and need easy meals.

I am always excited to share meals that are convenient but don’t lack nutritional standards. Freeli is the first company to develop a refrigerated, heat & eat (non-purée) meal in the convenience of a pouch. They heat up in 6o seconds and look home made. My kids approve. I listed some nutritional facts about Feeli:

  • high protein meals
  • developed by a nutritionist
  • cooked in small batches to preserve their flavor and texture
  • antibiotic-free chicken and beef
  • real cheese and rBST-free dairy
  • no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives
  • BPA-free pouch

They come in a variety of options and taste delicious. Anytime they eat their food is a win!

Use my code to babble10 to save 10% off a single box of Freeli,  one per email address. This code does not apple to Subscribe and Save purchases. The code is only valid through 4/15/21.

Happy Spring Guys,

xoxo
