Spreading Kindness with Toyota

This posy is sponsored by Toyota but all opinions are my own.

This year I am thrilled to partner with Toyota to Celebrate Random Act Of Kindness Week. Teaching my kids to spread kindness is always going to be my number one goal. Through out the year I make a conscious effort to deliver a smile. We donate clothes at the end of every season and try to pay it forward when we can.

Spreading kindness can be big and small. The most popular way to spread kindness is Paying it forward. I decided to pay it forward at my local grocery store. Guys, the pure joy on their face was priceless. You can watch the story unfold here!

I also decided to pay it forward during lunch. How lucky was I to find people that were already paying it forward. I met the sweetest co workers who were surprising their coworkers with lunch. God is truly amazing y’all. I also decided to purchase gas gift cards.

This was fun too. Pro TiP: get a jar to collect your change and save up to pay it forward. Or transfer a dollar a day to a separate account and use that to pay it forward. Think small and then go big.

This year has been quite the adjustment for everyone and I knew I had to give back to our essential employees. My kids and I made care packages for our delivery drivers. Gift boxes for their teachers and staff members. We also made something special for our neighborhood lunch lady. She delivers school lunch to children during the pandemic, how awesome is that?

Each basket was filled with random items that I thought would be useful for them at work. It is always nice to put these together. I had a big smile on my face the entire time. Spreading kindness can truly bring you joy too.

I thought it would be fun for the deliver arrives to get a package too. I found these cute boxes at Michael’s and wrapped it with yarn. The pom gave it the homemade touch.

Be sure to check out this post to see the video of me delivering care packages and gift baskets.

Spreading Kindness is not always about spending money. You can donating clothes to a shelter. Donate blankets and stuff animals to you local children’s hospital. Research therapy centers in your state and you can find rules an regulations of what that locations.

Also try calling to speak to someone, they can tell you exactly what they need. I decided to donate new and used books to my local library. This has always been a family favorite.

My gosh guys, delivering smiles and spreading joy is GODS gift. I had the best time and I hope I inspired you to spread joy. Remember, random acts of kindness are better homemade. No dollar amount can replace a smile and a good deed. Now excuse me, I have exactly 48 hours to really enjoy the new Toyota Hybrid 2021. GEEK!
